About the Role
The HR Intern will work closely with the HR team to support various HR functions and gain practical exposure to the different aspects of human resources. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for the intern to learn and contribute to HR activities, enhance their skills, and develop a comprehensive understanding of HR operations within a professional setting.
3 months of internship, with the possibility of extension based on performance and company requirements.
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
* Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels (job portals, social media, etc.).
* Screen resumes and support the initial stages of the selection process.
* Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
* Participate in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
2. Employee Relations:
* Aid in organizing employee engagement initiatives and events.
* Assist in gathering feedback through surveys and other communication channels.
* Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive work culture.
3. HR Administration:
* Help maintain and update employee records and databases.
* Support in preparing HR-related documents, including offer letters and employment contracts.
* Assist with various HR paperwork, such as attendance tracking and leave management.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Support the HR team in HR audits and related compliance activities.
5. General HR Support:
* Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
* Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and redirect them as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of HR principles and practices is a plus, but not required.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
